World War III: Soviet

Rays of dawn light pierced through the gaps in the forest canopy as Yuri Volkov waited in his command tank. Soon his battalion of T-64 tanks would spring from their positions camouflaged amongst the trees and join the rest of the regiment as they storm across the West German frontier.

The war Yuri had been training his men for had arrived, and though he had little doubt of the savage fighting to come, he was supremely confident in his men and their equipment. He signalled the advance and his T-64 tanks rolled forward. A flash in the distance marked the first response of the enemy and his tankers began to return fire.

The Soviet Union’s most powerful forces are stationed in East Germany and Czechoslovakia, poised on the border with West Germany ready to strike at a moment’s notice.
